Saint Agnes are one of today's most exciting new bands. With sold out shows at the Lexington already cemented as part of their history, we spoke to them about recording their debut EP - The Death or Glory Gang

"There was only one bloke who could fix the tape machine in the South of England"
Kitty Arabella, Saint Agnes

Saint Agnes are a rock band through and through. Their music is ferocious and fiery and built for their live shows.

For issue #004 of Liner_Notes, we spoke to frontman/woman duo of Kitty Arabella Austen and Jon James Tufnell about how the band came together, and the process of capturing their sound in the studio for their new EP - the Death and Glory Gang.

Recordings on the EP are fully analogue and self-produced to capture the true rebel heart and energy of the band. They were then engineered by Luke Oldfield (The Wytches, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats) with the final result capturing their modern guitar music in the most authentic way.

Originally hailing from East London the four-piece clocked up over 200 divebar and squat shows across the UK & Europe in their first 3 years playing together. 2018 has been their breakout year; smashing up the mainstage at Kendal Calling, a raucous 20 date UK headline tour, festival appearances across Europe and a sold out headline show at the legendary Lexington in London
